    Antique Victorian London Brighton Coachmans Announcing Horn British Brass 1850s
    DESCRIPTION
    Antique copper 4 foot long buisine or coachmans announcing horn. Dating to the middle of the Victorian period this particular horn was used to announce the arrival and departure of the Royal Mail coaches which ran between London and Brighton up until the 1860's. The coaches were less frequently travelled with the increase in railway access from this point onwards.
    Marked on the front: London Brighton
    MEASUREMENTS
    Announcing coach horn measures 46" long by 3" wide at the bottom and weighs just under 1lb.
    CONDITION
    In solid working condition with some dings and bumps associated with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
