The GEN4 On-Board Battery Charger offers the perfect mix of high-technology and rugged construction.
With a fully-sealed, waterproof housing, the GEN4 can be easily installed and mounted directly onto a variety of applications and specifically designed for tough marine environments. Its waterproof design is capable of withstanding submersion down to 3-meters for extended periods of time without failure, and rated IP68 and NEMA 6P, providing continuous operation in the most extreme environments.
The GEN Series On-Board Battery Chargers are some of the most advanced charging technology in its class. Utilizing the latest topology and power design, it is one of the most compact and lightweight battery chargers. Its onboard processor is capable of detecting, diagnosing, recovering, charging and maintaining all types of lead-acid batteries. Safely charge Wet Cell (Flooded), Gel Cell, AGM and Deep-Cycle batteries with zero overcharge.
Plus, it protects against reverse polarity, sparks, short circuits, open circuits, and thermal runaway. And the GEN Series On-Board Battery Chargers are completely automatic. So far I love it. It's considerably lighter than my three bank charger was. I is a better footprint and I was able to mount it vertically.
Nice but not truly H2O proof

I forgot to close my drain plug on my boat one morning and within 15 minutes I had water coming up through the floor drain. It almost ruined my Samsung Galaxy 4 phone which was charging in the floor cup holder (reason for my Walmart review of Lifeproof case after this incident). Anyway, come to find that my battery compartment was flooded as well because I went home and plugged in my NOCO Genius 4 charger and it flickered, made a buzzing noise and sulphuric smokey smell... Not good.... Had orange lights flickering between two banks and the other two banks would not light up at all. Turns out this is not "Waterproof" but only Water Resistant. None the less, it was my fault it got wet in the first place and ordered another one (thus, the 5 star review). Removal/Install was easy enough and now I have 4 green lights. Yippppeee.

Returns

When returning an item, it must be in all of the original packaging and include all of the original accessories or items that came with it. The item and package should be in original and perfect condition. You will be required to cover shipping on the return of non-defective items. If you contact us we may be able to send you a free return label. All returns MUST be done within 30 days of date of purchase. Please note that we cannot give refunds or replacements after the 30 day limit has expired. When sending in a return, please note that it can take up to 7-10 business days for your return to be processed. We do our best to process your return as quickly as possible.
