POPE GOSSER STERLING Blue Belle Gravy Boat & Under Plate Gold Gilt Trim Antique
Very good to excellent condition.......pre-owned and used rarely....stored in china cabinet when not in use....most all my Pope Gosser pieces are in excellent antique condition....a few pieces may have a small chip or crack showing.  I will note the pieces with problems.  Please see my pictures, use the zoom feature, for a visual description of the item/items you are considering purchasing.
I have for sale a lot of Pope Gosser Sterling Blue Belle China.  This sale is for ONE gravy boat or sauce bowl with matching underplate.
Both pieces are marked Pope-Gosser China Made in USA Sterling
The gravy boat
measures approximately 6" across the length of the bowl and 2-5/8" across the width.  The rim is between 2-1/2" and 2-7/8" tall depending on where you take the measurement.  Handle to spout is about 8".
The edge of the bowl/boat has gold gilt trim, the rim edge is lightly scalloped, and 'fork tined', and there is a fantastic floral "Blue Belle" pattern in three circular groupings on each side of the bowl.  The handle is gilt trimmed as is the scalloped and "tined" foot.
It has no chips or repairs; the gold must be worn in spots b
ut I don't see any places where the missing gold jumps out at me.  There is some light crazing and some light surface scratches in the bowl that may be part of the crazing pattern....and some light general discolorations.  There is discoloration on the foot but no chips in the scallop.
The underplate
measures approximately 8-3/4" across the length of the plate and 5-1/4" across the width.  The rim is about 1-1/8" above the table surface.
The edge of the has gold gilt trim, the rim edge is lightly scalloped, and 'fork tined', and there is a fantastic floral "Blue Belle" pattern in three circular groupings along each side of the long length of the bowl.
It has no chips or repairs but there is crazing mostly in the bowl and inside the foot on the underside.  The area of crazing appears discolored. A hair line crack is visible on the underside or it may just be an part of the crazing pattern.  The gold must be worn in spots but I don't see any places where the missing gold jumps out at me.The foot is clean, with no chips.  Seems like the gravy boat has been used but the under plate, not so much.

The Pope-Gosser company originated in 1902 in Ohio and started manufacturing in 1903.
This pattern was discontinued in 1944.
